BiH authorities and institutions are faced with a number of significant challenges
Director of the Directorate for European Integration Elvira Habota met with the Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in BiH Anne-Marije van de Staaij. The meeting focused on the next stages in BiH's accession to the EU and the Growth Plan for the Western Balkans.
Director Habota highlighted that authorities and institutions in BiH were faced with a number of important tasks. The first is to implement all relevant steps from the 2022 European Commission's recommendation, and the second is to review the materials provided by the European Commission from the explanatory screening meetings with North Macedonia, Albania, Ukraine, and Moldova. Preparing for the development of the negotiating framework is another crucial step. Additionally, Director Habota provided updates on the Working Team's actions in developing the Reform Plan for the Growth Plan for the Western Balkans.
