Completion of this year’s training cycle in partnership with EIPA Luxembourg

With the training Artificial Intelligence Innovation for the Public Sector, held on 27- 28 November, this year’s cycle of trainings organised in partnership with the European Institute of Public Administration (EIPA) and supported by the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, Defence, Development Cooperation and Foreign Trade of Luxembourg has been successfully completed. Earlier, on 4–5 November, the General Data Protection Regulation training took place. Around one hundred civil servants from all levels of government in Bosnia and Herzegovina gained practical understanding how to apply personal data protection rules through practical examples, discussions, and case studies. Opportunities and challenges brought by the development of artificial intelligence were also explored.

This year’s completed training cycle is part of the partnership between the DEI and EIPA, which has been ongoing since 2009. Over this period, more than 30 training events have been organised on various topics identified as relevant by BiH institutions, contributing to the continuous professional development of civil servants in the EU integration process and to a better understanding of EU law, policies, and best administrative practices.
