Visit from Åge Sandal Møller, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Denmark to Bosnia and Herzegovina
On 19 March 2025, the Directorate for European Integration hosted a visit from Åge Sandal Møller, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Denmark to Bosnia and Herzegovina, alongside representatives from the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs responsible for European neighbourhood issues.
During the meeting with Elvira Habota, Director of the Directorate for European Integration, discussions focused on Denmark's continued support for Bosnia and Herzegovina in its European integration process and the country’s key priorities for development assistance.
The visit also offered an opportunity to update the Danish representatives on the progress made by the institutions in BiH in implementing the eight steps outlined in the European Commission’s 2022 recommendation. Furthermore, the meeting highlighted the remaining tasks for BiH authorities that need to be completed in order for the European Union to adopt the negotiation framework with Bosnia and Herzegovina.
