Director Habota and Portuguese Ambassador Discuss Bosnia and Herzegovina’s EU Integration
Elvira Habota, Director of the Directorate for European Integration, met with Jorge Ayres Roza de Oliveira, the Portuguese Ambassador to BiH, who is based in Budapest.
The meeting focused on BiH’s progress on its path toward the EU membership. Director Habota briefed Ambassador Roza de Oliveira on the ongoing efforts of institutions to fulfill the priorities outlined in the European Commission’s Recommendation for granting candidate status, as well as the strategic objectives of the Directorate.
Both parties underscored the importance of Portugal’s continued support for BiH’s EU aspirations and expressed readiness to further strengthen cooperation in this area.
