Director Habota at the third High Level Political Forum on BiH’s European Path
On 3 June 2024 in Sarajevo, the director of the Directorate for European Integration Elvira Habota addressed the third High Level Political Forum on BiH’s European Path and pointed out that opening of negotiations with the European Union was the beginning of the most important and most demanding phase of the accession process, and that everyone would have a role in the negotiations.
Director Habota specifically mentioned the tasks the authorities in BiH will be facing, and urged them to provide as many tangible results as soon as possible.
“That would demonstrate credibility and commitment to this process in the most effective manner, in practice, in the field”, concluded Habota.
The third High Level Political Forum on BiH’s European Path was co-chaired by the chairwoman of the Council of Ministers of BiH, Borjana Krišto and by the Commissioner for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations, Oliver Varhelyi.
The Forum was attended by the deputy chairmen of the Council of Ministers of BiH, the members of the Joint Collegium, heads of caucuses and heads of political groups of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, the prime ministers of the Entities the FBiH and the RS, the prime ministers of ten cantons in the FBiH and the Mayor of the Brčko District.
