
Estonia supports EU enlargement
A delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Estonia, led by the Head of the Department for the European Union, Siiri Königsberg, visited the Directorate for European Integration today.
During the meeting with Director Elvira Habota, it was pointed out that Estonia continuously supported the enlargement of the EU, and that the BiH authorities should use the momentum to move forward in the process.
The Director Habota informed the Estonian delegation about the latest activities on the implementation of 14 key priorities from the European Commission’s Opinion, including the adoption of the proposal for the Law on the Prevention of Conflict of Interest at the session of the Council of Ministers of BiH. The Director also pointed out the progress in the finalisation of the Programme of Integration of BiH in the EU, which was a step forward in meeting the priority number 2 from the Opinion.
