One of the messages from the newly appointed Greece ambassador in BiH, Ioana Efthymiadou, who visited the Directorate for European Integration today, was that  support of Greece for BiH's European path will continue in the future.

Elvira Habota, Director of the Directorate for European Integration, stressed that it was critical for BiH to continue making progress in implementing priorities since that would be the most significant argument for the EU institutions to move forward with the next phase of the process.

She stated that one of the top priorities of the BiH civil service is to complete the development of the Programme of BiH Integration in the EU, which would include a plan for aligning BiH legislation with the acquis and would address part of priority no. 2 from the European Commission's Opinion. Director Habota also informed the ambassador Efthymiadou on the meeting of the Committee for European Integration, and on the efforts of the authorities in BiH about the Growth Plan for the Western Balkans.
