Habota with the Ambassador of Ireland on European Path of BiH
Director of the Directorate for European Integration, Elvira Habota, met today with the ambassador of the Republic of Ireland in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Adrian Farrellom and his deputy Conor McCann. The meeting focused on Bosnia and Herzegovina’s progress towards European integration, as well as on the next steps in the process of European accession.
Before the publication of the new report of the European Commission on Bosnia and Herzegovina, Director Habota briefed her interlocutors on the key activities of the country’s institutions in the reporting period, especially those related to the efforts to fulfil the eight steps from the European Commission’s Recommendation from 2022.
She pointed out that European Integration remains one of the key strategic priorities of Bosnia and Herzegovina and stressed that the institutions continued to work towards meeting the commitments.
Both sides emphasised the significance of continued cooperation and support to reform processes so that Bosnia and Herzegovina is ready to take the next steps in the European path.
