Cooperation with the legislative authority is one of the priorities of the DEI’s work
Cooperation with the legislative authority is one of the priorities of the work of the Directorate for European Integration. In order to strengthen this cooperation, the Director of the DEI, Elvira Habota, has met with the following representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH since taking up her duties: the speaker of the House of Representatives, Marinko Čavara; the first deputy speaker of the House of Representatives, Nebojša Radmanović; the second deputy speaker of the House of Representatives, Denis Zvizdić; the speaker of the House of Peoples, Kemal Ademović; and the second deputy speaker of the House of Peoples, Nikola Špirić.
She updated the Parliamentary Assembly’s leadership on the work of DEI on the development of BiH's Programme of Integration, as well as the country's progress in implementing the Commission's 14 key priorities.
It was emphasised that all institutions participating in the European integration process must be more actively engaged in order to take our country closer to EU membership.
