Meeting Habota – Lagerlöf
Director of the Directorate for European Integration, Elvira Habota, talked today with the ambassador of Sweden in Bosnia and Herzegovina Helena Lagerlöf.
During her inaugural visit to the Directorate, the ambassador Lagerlöf pointed out that EU enlargement was at the top of her country’s priority list. One of the topics of the conversation was progress of BiH in the implementation of 14 key priorities from the Opinion of the European Commission.
Director Habota presented the latest steps of BiH authorities in implementing the key priorities. The accent was placed on the activities to finalise the Programme of Integration of BiH in the EU.
Director Habota and ambassador Lagerlöf agreed that BiH authorities needed to provide the European Commission with as many positive arguments as possible for a new Report on BiH progress in implementing 14 key priorities.
Continuation of the cooperation was also discussed.
