It is important that BiH authorities make more progress before the meeting of the EU institutions

Ambasador Finske akreditovan za BiH Kalle Kankaanpää podsjetio je danas Direkciju za evropske integracije i s direktoricom Elvirom Habotom razgovarao o napretku Bosne i Hercegovine u svjetlu martovskog sastanka Evropskog vijeća.

Ambassador of Finland, accredited to Bosnia and Herzegovina Kalle Kankaanpää visited the Directorate for European Integration today. Ambassador Kankaanpää and DEI Director Elvira Habota discussed the progress Bosnia and Herzegovina made in the context of the upcoming European Council meeting in March.  

Director Habota pointed out several recent activities of institutions in BiH regarding the implementation of 14 key priorities. One of the most important was the adoption of the Law on Preventing Money Laundering and Financing Terrorist Activities, as well as opening negotiations with Frontex. 

Director Habota and Ambassador Kankaanpää emphasised the importance for BiH authorities to use the remaining time before the meeting of the EU institutions in March to make additional progress in the implementation of 14 key priorities.
