Pursuant to Decision no. 04-34-6-221/25 on vacancy announcement for additional staff of 6 March 2025, and in accordance with the provisions of Rulebook 05/A-02-3-KT-1478/24 on the recruitment of additional staff for the implementation of programme activities from technical assistance funds and projects partially or fully funded by EU funds of 30 December 2024, The Directorate for European Integration of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as a partner for the implementation of the project "Support to the organization of the 14^th EU Strategy Forum for the Danube Region - EUSDR", announces the following

VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

Recruitment of additional staff with fixed-term service contract - 1 person

Position – “Project officer” for the project „Support to the organization of the 14^th EU Strategy Forum for the Danube Region - EUSDR“ in Bosnia and Herzegovina, located at the Directorate for European Integration in Sarajevo, with expected beginning of engagement as of 1 April 2025 until 31 December 2025, with 162 working days, with a monthly gross fee of BAM 3.520,49.00 (EUR 1.800,00).

Project officer will be engaged based on service contract.

General and special conditions

-          university degree (VII level of high education or higher education of the Bologna system of studies valued at least 180 ECTS credits);

-          fluent knowledge of written and spoken English;

-          excellent communication and presentation skills;

-          ability to work effectively as a team member and independently;

-          advanced computer literacy (MS Windows and MS Office);

-          excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously under time constraints.

Professional experience

-          minimum 5 years of professional work experience (work experience after obtaining a higher education degree)

-          minimum 3 years of experience in implementation of programmes/projects funded by the EU or by other donors

-          at least 2 years of experience in using the procedures and guidelines for the implementation of projects funded by the European Union;

-          experience in event organizations;

-          experience in project administration, operating procedures, oversight and monitoring;

-          knowledge of project funding procedures and guidelines.

Candidates are expected to have excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to take personal responsibility for delivery of high-quality results within tight deadlines.

Applicants meeting the requirements will be invited to take a professional knowledge test, which is held on the same day, and consists of a written English language test, which is eliminatory, and of an interview, which consists of a set of relevant professional questions for the advertised position.
