The Interreg Adriatic-Ionian Transnational Cooperation Programme (ADRION)

The overall goal of the ADRION Programme is to act as a policy driver and governance innovator, fostering European integration among partner countries (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Greece, Italy, Montenegro, Serbia, Slovenia), taking advantage from the rich natural, cultural and human resources surrounding the Adriatic and Ionian seas and at the same time enhancing economic, social and territorial cohesion in the program area.

The Managing Authority of ADRION is the region of Emilia Romagna with its seat in Bologna, Italy. The National Authority in BiH in charge of the programme coordination together with other participating countries is the Directorate for European Integration.
