Interreg Danube Transnational Cooperation Programme 2014-2020
The overall programme objective is to promote economic, social and territorial cohesion in the Danube Region. In order to achieve a higher degree of territorial integration of the very heterogeneous Danube region, the programme acts as a policy driver aiming to tackle common challenges and needs in specific fields where transnational cooperation is expected to deliver tangible results.
The Programme Managing Authority is the Ministry for National Economy of Hungary seated in Budapest. The National Authority in BiH in charge of the programme coordination together with other participating countries is the Directorate for European Integration.
